Dear Friends, Today was a historic day for Lily & Eddy (my publisher) and my series, "The Tale of Didgit Cobbleheart." Around 300 people, children and adults, individuals and corporations as well as media representatives gathered in The Maestro, Level 4, Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta, to celebrate this memorable moment with our family. During the Open for Public hour between 01-03 PM, every kid could choose one Styrofoam standee to color: my standee or Fuzzy's. This activity was even more fun when it was related to the other activity, Didgit's Soccer Robots! How the two activities merged, you ask? Simple. Once the standee was colored, you could bring your standee to the soccer robot arena where your character would be mounted on one of the robot! Your opponent would do the same. Only after both robots have characters mounted on them you could start playing soccer by remote controlling the robots using a special hand-and-fingers remote controls. The rest is history. You would try to kick the ball using the robot as many times as you could to your opponent's stone goal post! Cool, eh?!
