Dear Friends, Today was a historic day for Lily & Eddy (my publisher) and my series, "The Tale of Didgit Cobbleheart." Around 300 people, children and adults, individuals and corporations as well as media representatives gathered in The Maestro, Level 4, Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta, to celebrate this memorable moment with our family. Our guests started coming at about 10 AM. They posed ala celebrity's red-carpet style in front of my brand wall before heading up to collect my cute goodie bags in the reception area. Most of my guests were surprised to be in our venue since the whole place was fully decorated to reflect Lily & Eddy as well as my village, Cragtop Cave. Even adults admired and enjoyed being in the venue, and most stayed until the even closed at 03 PM! The aroma of popcorn and cotton candy really helped warmed up the gathering. People laughed, chatted, snacked and took advantage of food and beverages served there. Besides variety of activities such as our mini talk show "Applications of Value Teachings and Character Buildings for Children in Their Professional and Personal Lives" we had unique performances. To begin with, Mr. & Mrs. Muljanto marked our grand launching moment by remote controlling a Didgit Robot to shoot confetti. Then we had "all-Didgit" activities such as "Didgit Dalang Robot", decorating Didgit sandals, coloring Didgit and Fuzzy's characters as well as playing soccer with Didgit and Fuzzy's robots! It was way cool and fun! Seven schools also contributed performances on that day. The show ranged from value teaching poetry reading in Mandarin, singing happy songs in Japanese language to dancing.
