Grandma Thea Rais and Her Coloring & Drawing
Dear Friends...

I want to introduce my dear friend, Grandma Thea Rais. She is the mother of my dear Aunty Joan Rais, who has been a great supporter my stories and activities. Even though Grandma Thea (thats how I call her) is already in her 80s, but her high spirits and her love of art (including coloring and drawing) are amazing!

First of all, she came to my first Kinokuniya event at Plaza Senayan on July 28. She smiled and laughed when Kak Nana, my storyteller, entertained my new friends with my story. She did not even hesitant to participate in coloring my book Mencintai Laut Indonesia (Loving the Indonesian Ocean).

She didnt stop there though. At home, she even drew a wonderful drawing of me. It was her interpretation of my photo album, and I have to say, her drawing really touched me deeply. Thank you, Grandma Thea! I love you and your wonderful coloring and drawing! Hoping to get more in the future...

Oh yes, I will have another event at Kinokuniya, Plaza Senayan, on September 1, 2013. The storytelling and coloring officially will start at 2pm to 3.30pm (Event Corner), but you can drop by to start coloring as early as 12pm. Bring as many of your friends and family, and lets share and care with other kids who are less fortunate than us. You will get rewarded as well! Plenty of fun activities, accompanied by cool poster and stickers from me as well as puzzle from my sponsor, Cerebrofort!

Truly Yours,

Didgit
