Dear Friends,

I am very proud to say that Sahabat Anak or Childrens Best Friends, has agreed to be my 2013 CSR partner: Children Helping Children- Color Your Life.

This non-profit organization specializes in providing education and fighting for the rights of street kids as well as marginal children. They want to make sure that these children will have better future. Isnt that wonderful? It is also in line with what my social mission.

This years social activities are unique since I am providing 5,000 coloring and story books for my needy friends in Indonesia. But, I also has a special mission for this activity. I want to invite as many companies, schools and non-profit organizations to work together with me. I am hoping that as many people will grow their social awareness by participating in my activities.

The road shows already started on May 21, 2013 at the Santa Ursula, BSD school where around 1,000 of its kindergarten and elementary school students as well as its teachers and employees participated enthusiastically. They helped me by coloring the first page of the book, and writing a short-inspiring message on each book. It was a great day, and I repeated that wonderful feeling on the second road show, May 23, 2013 at TB-TK Santa Ursula, Jakarta.

The excitement has only begun. I also got a wonderful offer from Childrens Best Friend to participate in their August 24-25, 2013 Jamboree! My participation in their event will allow me to meet with my new friends directly!

So, as you can see, doing good deeds also have wonderful rewards for you. In this case, my new friends and I were having a lot of fun dancing, singing, story-telling, coloring and writing on the book, as well getting cute puzzles from one of the sponsor. But, for me, the most rewarding of all is the the fact that at least 1,000 needy children served by Childrens Best Friends will have wonderful books to read, to color, as well as to share with their friends in their communities.

I do hope that this small social activity can be an inspiration for many children and adults alike to always try to make this world a better place for everyone. Remember, being good kids are so cool! Spreading love to others rocks!
