Dear Friends...

On Friday, June 21, 2013 Aunty Helena Muljanto (Lily & Eddy) and Aunty Nila Tanzil (Taman Bacaan Pelangi/ Rainbow Reading Garden) have signed a partnership MOU for my CSR program, Children-Helping-Children Color Your Life.

Therefore, it is now official that the 2,500 story and coloring books that I will help provide them with, accompanied by 2,500 coloring sets contributed by my other lovely friend, Cerebrofort, will be available for my new friends in 26 village libraries of Flores, Maluku, NTB, NTT and Makassar, served by Taman Bacaan Pelangi.

This unique program intends to create a better relationship between students who are able to enjoy nice education with those less fortunate ones. The first page of my Mencintai Laut Indonesia books are colored by students of Jakarta who care and support their new friends. They also wrote inspirational messages to show their moral supports. I am really hoping that as many children as possible can experience the benefits of this new relationship. Thats why Aunty Nila has agreed to facilitate a pilot pen pal project in Kampung Roe, where 50 children will start corresponding with their new friends from Santa Ursula, BSD. I think that’s a great idea!
