Dear Friends,

The 42nd interactive comic strip for my Soul Snacks by Didgit have been uploaded to my Facebook and Twitter/ Twitpics accounts on Wednesday, October 23, 2013.

The idea of this interactive comic strip comes from my dear Aunty Tina Yusuf. She has requested a theme my father is a MacGyver. I have decided to introduce this character first since I bet most of you have no clue about who MacGyver is.

MacGyver is, its a popular American action-adventure television series from 1085-1992. Its main character, secret agent Angus MacGyver, was a great troubleshooter working for a fictional Phoenix Foundation. He was educated as a scientist who served as a bomb technician during the Vietnam War.

What made MacGyver so popular was his encyclopedic knowledge of the physical sciences. He could solve complex problems with every day materials he finds at hand, along with his ever-present duct tape and Swiss Army knife. He also preferred non-violent resolutions, and preferred not to handle a gun unless it was really necessary.

So, Aunty Tinas idea was very intriguing one for me to create a story from. I started with a simple story of us meeting MacGyver. Please wait for the next interactive comic with MacGyver idea in it. It will not be easy, but I will try to make a cool and funny one for all of you.
