Indonesians will celebrate their 69th Indendependence day on August 17, 2014. This thousand-islands republic got its independence back in 1945. Located in the Southeast Asia region, Indonesia is an archipelago comprises of 13,466 islands, 33 provinces and 1 Special Administrative Region with over 238 million people.

The country consists of hundreds of ethnicities and linguistic groups. It is blessed with so many cultures and natural resources. It is a home for the world's second highest level of biodiversity. So, it is very important for Indonesians to remember that what make them great is the diversity and unity.
