After distributing around 300 books to children in four elementary schools in Riung and Tanjung Bunga, Flores island, East Indonesia, I had wonderful times with Ibu Farida Denura and her friends, checking out the Flores.

Visiting the endangered Komodo dragon in the Komodo Island was a must! So, I was able to be up close and personal with this giant pre-historic lizard! I also visitied the magnificent three-color-crater of Kilimutu, and the birth place of Pancasila- Indonesias five foundations.

My next book explores the beauty of flora and fauna of Eastern Indonesia. For you who have not had the chance to visit yourselves, it will be a good introductory book to read. It is full of great animals and plants, and they are wonderfully illustrated in vibrant colors.
